Welcome to our website.
The Bee-Tex Kennel Club meets once monthly the first Wednesday of the month. The Bee-Tex Kennel Club annually hosts a two day all breed dog show at the Bee County Coliseum in the month of April. Dogs from all over the country as well as local dogs compete for championship points as well as the coveted Best In Show award. Often times our little town will have several familiar faces from TV's Westminster Kennel Club held in February that many dog enthusiasts may recognize. In addition to the show a silent auction is held during the Saturday show and bids close Sunday morning. Items are donated by club members to raise funds going to the Humane Society of Beeville.
The mission of the Bee Tex Kennel Club is to promote the sport of purebred dogs through education with our all breed shows. We have a fun match also held in conjunction with the Saturday show. The fun match is often a great way to get started in the sport of showing your own dog in conformation or as a child age 8-18 showing a dog in junior showmanship.
